  • Proxy-Free Update Checks: Engineered a lightweight, proxy-bypassing update notification system using DNS TXT records. Devices on restrictive networks can now natively check for app updates without ever prompting the user for proxy credentials.
  • Action Context Menus: Introduced right-click (desktop) and long-press (mobile/touch) context menus for subject charms, allowing immediate access to unit planning or the timetable.
  • Link Checklists: Implemented a new checklist system within the lesson reader to effortlessly manage, track, and verify your resource links.

  • Intelligent Lesson Forwarding: Overhauled the dashboard's "Next Lesson" lookup logic. It is now time-aware, instantly matches specific timetable day sequences, and natively skips past blocked calendar events (e.g., excursions or holidays) to find your genuine next teaching period.
  • Bouncy UI Modernization: Designed satisfying, dynamic "bouncy" animations for subject and staff charms on the dashboard to make interactions feel more alive.
  • Platform Legibility: Increased base font sizes to 15pt across dashboard charms and lists. Tuned the timetable's pastel color palette for higher visual vibrancy and contrast.
  • Resilient File Management: Local folder infrastructure now utilizes SHA-256 hashing to eliminate pathway errors caused by special characters. Added visual "folder icons" across the UI to signify when a subfolder contains cached resources.
  • Lesson Reader Context: Added a dynamic date toggle to display relevant scheduling subtitles directly under the lesson (e.g., "today", "tomorrow"), alongside smarter PDF page-breaking rules for printing linked resources.
  • Gantt Charts & Data Exports: Refined the unit measurement roundings within Gantt charts. Standardized font sizing logic and streamlined the unit-duration recalculations for PDF exports.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Startup Maximization: Resolved an intermittent issue on desktop platforms where the application window failed to launch fully maximized.
  • Background Backups: Diagnosed and fixed a critical bug preventing automatic backup routines from firing correctly on application close for composite group users.
  • Tooltip Ghosting: Fixed framework stability issues and visual trailing caused by aggressive hovering over split-click actions on list items.
  • Security Edge-Cases: Ensured that a newly generated Personal Encryption Key reliably stores as the primary School Encryption Code to preserve single-user backup integrity.
  • Calendar Cleansing: Improved logic to accurately sweep and clean duplicate calendar events spanning multiple scopes and IDs.
